Imagine printing 500 flyers with a QR code linking to your website… and then your URL changes. 😱 What now?
If you're using a dynamic QR code, don’t worry — you can update the link anytime without touching the printed code.
Here’s how it works and why it’s a must-have feature.

🔁 Why Dynamic QR Codes Are a Game-Changer
Unlike static QR codes (which are fixed forever), dynamic QR codes store a short redirect URL that points to your actual destination. This means you can update the destination later — even after people have scanned it.
It’s perfect if:
Your content or landing page changes.
You want to reuse the same QR code for seasonal promotions.
You made a typo in your original link (oops).
✏️ How to Edit the Destination URL in Zebra QR
Changing the URL of your dynamic QR code takes just a few clicks:
Log into your dashboard at zebraqrcode.com.
Find the QR code you want to update.
Look for the "Long URL" field.
Click on the "Edit" button.
Enter the new destination link.
Click on the "Save" button.
That’s it! From now on, everyone who scans that QR will be taken to the new URL.
🧠 Quick Reminder
This feature only works with dynamic QR codes. If you created a static one, the link is permanently embedded and can’t be changed.
🚀 Start Using Smart QR Codes
If you're still using static QR codes, it's time to switch. With dynamic codes, you get:
Editable links
Scan tracking
Device and location insights
And more!
